March 12, 2022

Dear Friends and Family,

Greetings of peace, grace and hope in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

We are writing to seek your help. But first, we would like to share our story. COFP had been nomads

for seven (7) years without a church to call a home. We have had services in town halls, malls, schools,

and rented rooms. We have often changed locations in two cities and three municipalities. In 2019,

a missions team came from America and we prayed for a parcel of land in Sitio Casilagan, San Manuel

where most of our members reside. With no money in the bank, we had faith to believe that God would

make a miracle happen. God touched the heart of our mom and she purchased 399 square meters

in 2021, which is now under the name of COFP. All Glory to God!!!

For one year, despite not having electricity or roofing, we worshipped and praised God in this land.

Then, a couple of our friends donated funds to start building our tin roof in the latter part of 2021.

Through tithes & offerings and the labor of our COFP members, we have filled the rice field with soil

and built a temporary bamboo fence. We thank God for this experience that has been granted to our

members to walk in faith, to taste and see that God is faithful and good.

But the challenges continue. The church sanctuary without walls has been trespassed recently.

With the drinking of alcoholic beverages, our table and chairs were thrown into the rice field leaving

broken bottles on the ground. Additionally, dogs and goats started urinating and defecating on the

church property, people are leaving their trash bags in front of the church, and field workers

are turning the church property into a parking lot. We desperately need to put a fence!

So, we have pressed on. We are blessed to now have a fencing permit to build a perimeter wall around

the church property. We have also placed the fencing plan for bidding and have chosen one out of six bids

that is most cost-effective and fits our needs. Hence, we are writing to seek your financial help to enable

us to build our perimeter fence. We are needing to raise the amount of Php652,668.96

or approximately 13,053.38 US dollars (see details attached) by March 31, 2022, so that we can start

our fencing project on the first week of April, that it may be completed before the rainy season begins.

God is our way maker and our miracle worker. And we believe that our next miracle is just around the corner because God can work through you. So, we thank you in advance for your generosity.

Finally, please know that we are praising God for you today. Our prayer is that you yourselves

will be refreshed as you refresh our ministry (Proverbs 11:25). And we pray that COFP will be a source of encouragement for you in your walk with the Lord.

Now, we declare the blessings of Numbers 6:24-25 over you and your family—“May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you His favor and give you His peace.”  In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.

Sincerely,

Pastor John Jalique, Senior Pastor                              Pastor Myra Jalique, Executive Pastor
